  Elections to MHNA's National Professional Committee 2008

All ten regional seats on MHNA's National Professional Committeethe UK are open for election and MHNA invites all members who would be interested in standing for election to complete and return the nomination form which can be downloaded from the link below. Nomination forms are also being mailed directly to each member.

The map that appears to the right shows the regional structure of Unite/MHNA. The regions are Scotland, Ireland, Wales, North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, South East, Northern & Yorkshire/Humberside and London & Eastern.

The MHNA National Professional Committee (NPC) is the body within the Association that leads on the development of Professional Policy and Practice. It meet four times a year. The Chair is Andy Lauder, who's details, along with other members of the NPC, can be found on the Contact MHNA page

It is composed of one elected MHNA member in each of the 10 new regions of Unite and it is their task to help shape and dirct the professional activities and priorities of the MHNA.

Each member has been elected for a two-year term and will attend the four meetings planned for the NPC each year. The first meeting for 2008 is planned for the 5th of March in London.
